Dear Cottage Hill Family,
The half way mark for the school year is upon us… it has been a great year so far at Cottage Hill Christian Academy! We have had some incredible chapels and have seen some of our students come to the Lord as a result. Campus Impact and Dr. Catt, just to name a few, had huge impacts on our student body. As springtime approaches we are praying for more awesome chapel times.

One of the big highlights on our spring calendar is the Leadership Rocks event featuring Dr. Jay Strack and hosted by the Cottage Hill Student Leadership Institute. Leadership Rocks events are held nationwide. Be sure to mark the dates of March 6 and 7, 2009, on your calendar and watch for registration details which will be coming out soon!

Many times we get so busy we forget why Cottage Hill Christian Academy exists… the best way to remind us is to go back to our Vision Statement;
"To build a Christian school of excellence through Biblical principles so students will come to know Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, will develop a Biblical worldview, and will place their lives in God’s hands to impact future generations for Christ."

As we prepare for the spring semester I want to take a moment to give you some key chapel dates that will be vital to the Academy family as we seek to build a school that is set apart to reach and influence our community for Christ.

Cottage Hill Baptist Schools-Gifting Plans

Act Now for Tax Savings This Year!
No matter how organized we are, without a calendar we could never keep our lives in order and on schedule. We rely on calendars to ensure we are in the right place at the right time on the right date. We also use them to keep our future plans in order.

Whether in the form of the latest high-tech electronic device, a computer program, or simply printed on good, old fashioned paper hanging on the wall, calendars come in all shapes and sizes and can be found in homes and offices across the country.

Begin Planning Early
Now may be a good time to mark your calendar to check with your advisors about your financial plans this fall. Reviewing personal, philanthropic, and other plans affords you the opportunity to complete pledges or make special gifts to the Cottage Hill Schools that may bring tax savings to you next April. For many people, it is more important than ever to carefully consider the timing and form their gifts take this year as some gifts can bring them even greater benefits.

Request More Information
There are many ways to make thoughtful, generous, and tax-efficient gifts by the end of the year. While all gifts are appreciated, some provide you with extra tax savings or other rewards. We will be pleased to share these ideas with you by sending additional information on how to complete your gifts in a timely manner for maximum benefits.

Contact Dr. Charles Lang, Superintendent of Schools or Mrs. Roz Chapman, Coordinator of Advancement and Development at 251-634-2513 or langc@cottagehillschools.org.
